New exclusive characters for the game will descend into the scene, and unexpected plot twists will be revealed as players discover who seeks revenge against Naruto!
Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive features a good visual interface in all aspects. The menus are clean and also feature nice artwork. The opening video is fantastic and runs exactly like the show’s opening. The story is presented between missions in a comically animated style that was quite enjoyable and a nice way to transition from mission to mission.
The level designs are interesting despite their diversity; you’ll see a lot of forests, deserts, and the like. It occasionally feels repetitive in terms of gameplay. I like how character designs capture the look and feel of the show, and they’ve done a great job recreating our favorite jutsu attacks. I really loved seeing the creatures of Sai’s drawing techniques jumping out of his scrolls. It’s a really fantastic effect.

This new episode of Naruto, directed towards combat fervently, features a single-player mode as well as multiplayer mode for up to 4 players! Naruto, the ninja with the crimson hair, known for his love of ramen and a penchant for getting into trouble, is back in a completely new show, despite being more mature this time. This, of course, means there won’t be a shortage of video games based on the nine-tailed young man with one of the most iconic catchphrases in history, including the recently released Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive for PSP.
I’m not unfamiliar with the show, either of them, although I’ll admit I struggle with character names, especially those outside the main character’s clan. I also appreciate this fresh take on Naruto, where the character is already well-established. Kizuna Drive follows in the footsteps of the better-than-the-previous-one despite having a few short shows. I’ll get into that later.

Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive features an original story instead of borrowing from the show. In this three-dimensional action game, Naruto and his friends must discover who is responsible for the abduction of many ninjas from their clan. At the same time, they must stay one step ahead of a different clan blaming Naruto for the attack on their village.
Players can experience this new story in the Scenario Mission section of the game as they progress through levels to fight enemies, avoid traps, and overcome scattered bosses. Unlike previous titles, Kizuna Drive introduces a team-based approach from the start. Instead of fighting alone like Naruto, you’ll have at least 3 other ninjas to assist you in battles.
There are times when you won’t be in control, and other ninjas will take over. The only downside is that once you get used to Naruto’s attack techniques, it’s challenging to play like any other character. However, each character has its own strengths within its designated role, such as support or attack. For example, Naruto is an attack class, while Sakura with pink hair is a type of recovery. Each character has its unique abilities, like Naruto’s Nine-Tails power

Your enemies are simply attacked by using the circle button. However, to use advanced skills like Team Assist or Team Attack, you can press the triangle button or both if necessary. Just as in the presentation, you need to build Chakra to perform more advanced attacks. Some use up your Chakra bar faster than others, so you often have to find a safe place to recharge when needed or when you can’t perform any special abilities.
The only issue I encountered with Kizuna Drive is that it’s somewhat difficult to control your opponents due to a noticeable lack of a lock-on feature. This makes landing hits or executing special attacks challenging at times. There’s a manual camera control to assist you with tracking.
