Marvel Super Hero Squad is a video game developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment, Media, and Halfbrick, published by THQ. It was released on October 20, 2009, for Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and Wii. The game features highly stylized, cartoonish versions of Marvel Comics superhero characters, as seen in the Marvel Super Hero Squad toy line produced by Hasbro and the television show produced by Film Roman and Marvel Animation for Cartoon Network.

Marvel Super Hero Squad for PSP, playable on the PPSSPP emulator for Android, is divided into two parts: Adventure Mode and Battle Mode. In Adventure Mode, there are six chapters for each hero: Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Hulk, Wolverine, Falcon, and Thor. Players choose their main character, then select a superhero and have a wide range of options. In each level, they must defeat waves of enemies and achieve their goal as instructed by Ms. Marvel. If the level is a boss battle, it is similar to Battle Mode, where the player must either achieve 5 points, 7 points, or 10 points to defeat the boss.

Battle Mode is a free-for-all fighting mode. Players create a new profile, then have two options: Versus Mode or Squad Mode. In Versus Mode, they choose their character as if it were a single-player game, while in Squad Mode, Player 1 chooses two characters, and Player 2 chooses the other two. In the options section, the player selects the number of points they can achieve in the battle: 5, 10, or more. They then proceed to play the battle and can replay with different characters or return to the main menu once finished.

When they collect all six missing pieces of the Fractal, the mayor congratulates them on their heroics. The citizens cheer for them, and the mayor unveils magnificent artwork of the superheroes. Then, Doctor Doom stands in one of them. Iron Man says that the real Doctor Doom is the one who is with them. The people cheer. Doctor Doom shocks the superheroes, then unleashes his secret army (Modokbots). Doctor Doom blames MODOK. The team puts on Stark Industries Mind Control Nullifying Belt Buckles and must defeat all Modokbots. Once they defeat Doctor Doom with the Infinity Sword, he is defeated, and Ms. Marvel takes him away in a helicopter. Iron Man congratulates the superheroes on their hard work.
